Step 1 - BrainstormingDirections: In your writer's notebook do the following:
1A. Make a list of superheroes you know. They can be from movies, TV shows, comic books, or any other fiction. 1B. Make a list of characteristics these superheroes have in common. Use this link to Marvel Comic Superheroes to help you research. Watch the video to get some other ideas. Step 2 - ResearchGo to the following links to see how you did with your brainstorming. Step 3 - Create your SuperheroCreate your own Superhero: Directions: Use the Superhero graphic organizer to help you plan your Superhero Your Superhero should have a "back story" You must include at least 3 Classic Hero Archetype characteristics. Directions: You are going to make a PowerPoint presentation to introduce us to your Superhero.
There are two parts to your presentation. The visual and the text. See you choices below.
Visual:
You may choose one of four options -
1. Draw your superhero in Paint. You can insert the saved image into your PowerPoint Presentation
2. Draw your Superhero with paper and pencils. You can scan the image and insert it into your PowerPoint presentation
3. Create a collage of 5-7 images found on the internet, that symbolically represent your Superhero - in PowerPoint
4. Create a "logo" that symbolizes your Superhero in Paint and insert it into your PowerPoint presentation
